Theoretical study: 1. Distributed control and optimization 2. Modeling and control of complex networked systems 3. Resilient control algorithms Systems/applications: 1. Demand response and demand-side management of smart grid 2. Optimal economic dispatching control, control strategies for power system stability 3. Resilient control algorithms for smart grid under failures and attacks 4. Energy efficiency solutions for smart buildings via networked sensing, control, and optimization 5. Control, coordination and optimization of intelligent multi-robot systems The salary is highly competitive. The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University is fast growing. Singapore is also establishing two new universities. Applicants for post-doc research fellow positions should hold a Ph.D degree in relevant areas, and have a track record of competitive research experience in terms of journal publications. 2. Applicants for research assistant positions should rank among top 15% during undergraduate study. No GRE or TOEFL is required. 3. Applicants for research associate positions should rank among top 20% during undergraduate study, and have been doing related and competitive research during Master study.
